Description
The Center for Medical Physics and Engineering (CeFIM) at Universidad de La Frontera is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Science, with the support of the Faculty of Medicine. Its objective is to involve physicists, engineers and other specialists in the development of high-level fundamental and applied research that leads to innovative solutions with an impact on the medical field on the regional, national and international level.
This Center brings important efforts together with the aim of increasing research and the technological development in physics and engineering applied to medicine and other associated fields; strengthening the Master's Program in Medical Physics, other graduate programs, and programs that are related with the fields of engineering and health; as well as expanding the cooperation and establishing new partnerships with regional medical centers, among others.
