Description
The Center for Water Management and Technology (CEGETco) at Universidad de La Frontera is a unit comprised of a multidisciplinary team of researchers and specialists whose mission is to:
- Provide relevant and reliable information about availability, distribution, use, quality, pollution and efficiency in water management.
- Contribute to the sustainable management and use of water through research, innovation and technological development for the design of comprehensive solutions and the capability to train human capital.
- Become a leading institution that connects public services, private initiatives and community based organizations in disciplinary aspects related to water resources sustainability.
- Be a platform that provides technical, independent and critical feedback for projects and initiatives involving water resources in the La AraucanÃa Region in Chile.
