Description
The Center of Excellence in Scientific Modelling and Computing (CEMCC) at Universidad de La Frontera is a unit of the Faculty of Engineering and Science that provides support for the resolution of complex problems that require advanced numerical processing. Its highly qualified academic staff carries out scientific and technological activities with the aim of creating a new hub for regional development.
Its mission is the creation of scientific knowledge, its technological implementation and its dissemination among society, in an interdisciplinary framework of excellence with regard to the specific fields of scientific modelling and computing.
The aim is to gather and promote efforts, orientations and trends in the fields of scientific modelling and computing at Universidad de La Frontera. Academics and students work together on multidisciplinary aspects to develop solutions for problems that mainly affect the La AraucanÃa Region and Chile, in accordance with the current scientific and technological development.
