Description
CIBAMA, which is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Science of the Universidad de La Frontera, is a research center comprised of a group of researchers and professionals who carry out applied research to provide solutions to current environmental problems, establishing strategic alliances with companies and government entities. It also provides support for the training and inclusion of future researchers who carry out their theses and supervised internships at associated laboratories and companies.
Its mission is to create knowledge and to develop specific tools and biotechnological innovations in order to offer scientific and technological solutions to regional and national environmental problems, as well as to contribute to the training of advanced human capital and to build collaborative networks at the national and international level.
